General terms of license
contentXXL is licensed
The license is INDEPENDENT of the count of portals, languages, administrators, editors or users. There are no user CALs required.
* Licensing allows the usage of the licensed software exclusively to the the licensee; further usage by third parties, particularly by connected and/or associated companies within groups of companies, independent organisations, authorities or institutions and comparable juristic persons which are associated with the licenser, requires further licensing, unless this was agreed in individual cases in other form explicitly in writing.
contentXXL ASP.NET CMS Basic System
The contentXXL Basic System is basis for the realisation of high-class solutions concerning Internet presences, intranet and extranet portals (closed user groups), microsites, communities / collaboration, knowledge management or enterprise content management. It is possible to build up numerous multi-language portals, e.g. for internationally-active companies or associations.

contentXXL Enterprise License
The advantages
- The Enterprise License is licensed per Windows installation on a single Server
- The Enterprise License is licensed per company group including subsidiary companies
- In addition to the contentXXL Basic System, the Enterprise License contains all contentXXL Advanced Modules available at time of license purchase
- The license is INDEPENDENT of the count of portals, languages, administrators, editors or users. There are no user CALs required.
One-time payment of € 27,000.- per Windows installation on a single Server, SA additional
contentXXL SharePoint Edition 2007
The contentXXL SharePoint Edition 2007 enables content entered and maintained in Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services or in the Office SharePoint Server to be especially easily and economically published on the Internet, CI/CD-conform and barrier-free. The edition contains the complete functionality of the contentXXL Basic System and the contentXXL SharePoint Connector 2007. Expansion through contentXXL Advanced Modules is possible.
One-time payment of € 7,450.- per Server, SA additional.
Software Assurance (SA)
By purchasing software assurance licensees benefit from future improvements and additional features for the basic system and the licensed Advanced Module. Software assurance includes the provision for free updates / upgrades for 1 year, respectively, for 15% p.a. of the license fee according to the price list as well as access to the contentXXL Partner Portal. The installation of updates / upgrades and possibly required testing and adoptions in projects is not included within the scope of a software assurance. This option can only be purchased together with the license, meaning not at later point in time. The availability of updates and upgrades is only possible within the framework of the software assurance. The software assurance will be automatically extended after the expiration for a further year, unless the licensee has cancelled the extension in writing 6 weeks before it is due to begin.
